Seeing is believing… or perhaps tasting is believing. During the lunch! trade show that took place at ExCeL London over 20th-21st September, visitors were able to get a closer look at Nuttall’s hot-holding food display unit, Flexeserve Zone®.
Visited by 6,000 food and drink related buyers over its two days, lunch expo! is a trade show aimed specifically at the food-to-go industry – a sector currently worth £17.8bn to the UK economy, and growing faster year-on-year than the UK’s grocery retail sector.
Flexeserve Zone® is a patented, industry-leading, hot food-to-go unit which maintains a variety of food at optimum serving temperatures for several hours, without compromising taste or texture. Flexeserve Zone® keeps food in a ‘fresh’ state due to its patented technology and a comprehensive menu development service, which advises on the composition of food and packaging.
Nuttalls used the lunch expo! trade show to showcase its Flexeserve Zone® unit, filled with a wide range of food – available to sample – that demonstrated the capability and versatility of the technology. In addition, key members of the Foodservice Solutions team were at the exhibition, specifically to field questions on Flexeserve Zone® and discuss visitors’ specific requirements.
Jamie Joyce, Chief Executive of the Foodservice Solutions division of The Alan Nuttall Partnership, said: “Attending lunch! gave us an excellent opportunity for people to experience exactly what Flexeserve Zone® is capable of, and that first interaction with the unit can set in motion a process that completely revolutionises a business. We’ve seen it time and time again.
“We know that foodservice business owners may be sceptical in the first instance – but that often changes when they see the unit and sample the food. When they meet us and are shown Flexeserve Zone®, they see the variety of food it’s holding, they get the taste, they get the texture, and suddenly they’re excited about what we can do for their products and their business.
“We’ve had a successful time at the lunch expo! exhibition, and we were pleased to meet new people with a view to helping them grow their business through hot food-to-go.”
