Jamie said: “I’m incredibly proud to receive this award, but it’s really a reflection of the passion and dedication of the entire Flexeserve team. We’ve always focused on pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in food-to-go, and to be recognized in this way is a real honour. It inspires us to keep innovating and raising standards for our customers and their customers around the world.”

Over 30 years of dedication shaping Flexeserve’s direction

Jamie’s journey with Flexeserve and The Alan Nuttall Partnership is a powerful example of dedication, progression and long-term vision. Joining the business at just 16 as an apprentice on the shop floor, he built his career from the ground up, gaining experience across project management, sales and operations before moving into leadership. Now marking over 30 years with the Partnership, he has played a pivotal role in shaping the direction of Flexeserve, driven by deep industry expertise and a clear focus on delivering meaningful progress across food-to-go.

Under his leadership, Flexeserve has grown into an international, multi-award-winning brand, recognized for its pioneering approach to hot-holding technology and finding solutions to customer pain points. Expansion into new markets, strong global partnerships and Jamie’s clear strategic direction have positioned the business at the forefront of food-to-go, with a continued focus on growth and evolving the sector.

A major part of their growth has been the opening of Flexeserve’s dedicated HQ for the Americas in Southlake, Dallas TX. Jamie recognized the opportunity for improved food-to-go experiences in the U.S. and developed a vision to replicate the unique way Flexeserve supports its customers to positively change how consumers view hot grab and go.

Warwick Wakefield, Director of Customer Experience, added: “Jamie’s leadership has been fundamental to shaping Flexeserve into the business it is today. His vision and ability to inspire others have driven both our progress and unique culture. This recognition reflects the impact he continues to make, not only within our organization but across the wider industry. As we look ahead, his direction and ambition will be key as we build on our momentum and continue to redefine food-to-go.”

Delivering impact through innovation and expertise

Both Jamie and Flexeserve have built a strong track record of achievement, grounded in innovation and industry recognition. Key milestones include the development of the flagship Flexeserve Zone technology and prestigious honors such as the Queen’s Award for Innovation in 2022 and Business of the year at LeicestershireLive Business Awards in 2023. More recently, Connect by Flexeserve – the company’s cloud-based platform – has secured multiple industry awards since its launch in 2023, including a Sammies Business Development Award, a Gold Innovation Challenge Award at the lunch! show, Best Front of House Innovation at GulfHost, and a SMART Label Innovation Award at HostMilano 2025.

Jamie continued: “Our founder, Alan Nuttall, taught me so much over the years, and one of the biggest lessons I learned from him was to stick to what you believe in, do things differently and never be afraid to take risks when you genuinely believe you can make something better. This is truly reflected in these recent achievements, underlining Flexeserve’s ability to lead through forward-thinking products, services and expertise.”

A clear vision for continued growth

Earlier this year, Jamie brought the team together for a dedicated Vision & Values event held at the iconic St George’s Park, setting out a clear direction for not only the future of Flexeserve, but also his desire to positively impact the industry. The event focused on long-term ambitions and the next phase of growth, reinforcing the role every Partner plays in achieving that vision, while delivering unrivaled food-to-go experiences to consumers around the world.

With innovation at its core, the business is better positioned than ever before to shape the future of food-to-go for years to come.
